Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering 2009, Volume 3, Issue 3,   Pages 298-304 doi: 10.1007/s11705-009-0019-6

Abstract: We investigated the effect of HMT (hexamethylenetetraamine) on the anodic growth of TiO nanotube arraysAdsorption of HMT on the TiO surface is shown to markedly decrease the chemical dissolution rate oftube mouth, resulting in longer nanotube length. The TiO /Pt composites were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), X-rayAn enhancement in photocurrent density has been achieved upon modification of TiO nanotubes with Pt
